Notice on Visa Facilitation for Applicants Inoculated with COVID-19 Vaccines Produced in China

To promote people-to-people exchanges between China and other countries in an orderly manner, since 15 March 2021, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China to Rwanda will provide the following facilitation for visa applicants who have been inoculated with COVID-19 vaccines produced in China and obtained the vaccination certificate:

1. Personnel and their family members who need go to China to engage in necessary activities of resuming work and production in various fields are allowed to submit visa applications according to the requirements before the epidemic.

2. The foreign family members of Chinese citizens or permanent residents, including spouse, parents, children and other close relatives live together (referred to as brothers and sisters, grandparents and grandchildren), may submit visa applications for the purposes of reuniting with family, taking care of the elderly, visiting relatives, attending funerals or visiting critically ill relatives.

3. A holder of a valid APEC Business Travel Card could apply for M visa with an invitation from the inviting entity.

Visa applications will be considered based on the specific situation of the applicant. Passengers flying to China are still required to abide by the notice published on Feb. 21 before boarding. After entry into China, please comply with the relevant requirements of quarantine.
