Urgent notice: The Validity Period of the Negative Covid-19 Nucleic Acid Test Certificate for Passengers Boarding Commercial Flights to China has been adjusted from 5 days to 3 days
2020/09/01

According to the latest domestic notice, in order to reduce the risk of cross-border spread of the epidemic, starting from September 1, at 0:00 AM Beijing time, all passengers on flights to China must apply for a green health code (only for Chinese nationals) or a Health Declaration Form (for foreigners) with a negative nucleic acid test certificate issued within 3 days before boarding.

All Chinese citizens and foreign passengers located in Rwanda are requested to adjust their nucleic acid test arrangements according to requirements in the notice. For transit passengers from a third country, please refer to the time limit notified by the Chinese embassy or consulate in the country of departure to pass a nucleic acid test. For other matters, please continue to follow the "Notice on Implementation of Presenting Negative Results of COVID-19 Nucleic Acid Tests before Boarding in Rwanda for Passengers Taking Flights Bound to China" issued by the Embassy on August 8.

If you have any questions, please call the Chinese Embassy to Rwanda during working hours: 00250-784825635 or send an email to consulate_rwa@mfa.gov.cn.
