On June 10, Ambassador Gao Wenqi called on Rt. Hon. KAZARWA Gertrude,Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies.  DCM Minister Counselor Lin Hang, Hon. UWINEZA Beline, Deputy Speaker in charge of parliamentary affairs, Hon. HARERIMANA Mussa Fazil, Deputy Speaker in charge of administration and finance were present.

Ambassador Gao Wenqi stated that China and Rwanda share many similarities in governance and development philosophies, and support each other on issues concerning each others’ core interests and major concerns. 2026 marks the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Rwanda, and our bilateral relations are at their best in history.China stands ready to work with Rwanda to implement the important consensus reached by the two Heads of State, deepen practical cooperation, strengthen mutual learning, so as to advance the comprehensive strategic partnership, and bring about greater benefits to the two peoples.

Rt. Hon. KAZARWA Gertrude appreciated China’s support for Rwanda’s economic and social development, expressed the readiness to further promote inter-parliamentary exchanges boosting the sound development of bilateral relations.
