On July 2, UN Women Rwanda Office and the School of International Relations and Public Affairs (SIRPA) at Fudan University signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) virtually. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Ms. Lin Hang, Deputy Chief of Mission and Minister Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Rwanda.

Ms. Lin Hang commended UN Women and Fudan University for their efficient efforts to promote exchanges and cooperation in talent development among other areas. She noted that, on the occasion of 55th anniversary of China-Rwanda diplomatic relations and the Year of China-Africa People-to-People Exchanges, this MoU holds significant importance for advancing South-South and triangular cooperation, deepening people-to-people exchanges, and fostering the building of a community with a shared future for humanity.
